Just a trivia of the founding of Arnis Philippines in 1986. Right after the EDSA Revolution, a few young arnis masters met at Pulo Restaurant in Fiesta Carnival, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines to form the national arnis association we now know today. They were Raymond Velayo, Dewey Sahagun+, Rene Tongson, Mario Malicsi+, Ernie Presas+, Alex Cruz+, Bienvenido Orlanes+, Jerry Dela Cruz, Guy Tacorda+, Atty. Ulan sarmiento, Ramon Enrille III, and Roland Dantes+. This will become the present national sports association, Arnis Philippines, Inc.
